New CPS 'Area 26' = militarism
The email we received from CPS about "Area 26" today is below.
Sanitization through linguistic trickery doesn't alter reality. The Department of Defense used to be called the Department of War.
Now CPS follows in their tradition of dishonest linguistics, hiding what their modus operandi is. Education is and should be part of the public sphere, not the military sphere. They know this is what is right, and they are trying to hide behind a more "official" title.

Pleased be advised that the high school area formally known as the "Military Area Office" will now be called "Area 26."
The Area 26 high schools are:

Marine Academy
Phoenix Military Academy
Rickover Naval Academy
David G. Gilligan
Chief High School Officer
Chicago Public Schools
