The reported amounts should have been reported as an aggregation of small amounts including dues from individuals and not as a total sum from the Chicago Teachers Union. In the future we will make sure the A-1s properly reflect the source of funds.

and just like that you have a crony double dipper write one letter and gets two off the hook for two separate violations of campaign finance law. How is a dude allowed to write a letter for his own employer? What is even more strange is wondering how his legal services are billed working for the PACs via CTU? is it an in-kind contribution or direct billing? Herd lawyers can lose their law license is messing with billing paperwork

no idea how a loan got confused with a dues donation. And there is the little matter of not getting any approvals before this all went down. Only after news media outlets found the donation on the Board of elections did the CTU leadership go back to the executive board for approvals of the loans ...
now what happens since loans were approved and not donations?
