CPS covering up security risks to students (Non-Commercial FOIA Request :: N011036-051022)

Through FOIA work and tips, Substance News had confirmed that an individual was allowed to work with CPS staff and possibly students when they were banned from such activity. During a Chicago Teachers Union Foundation webinar hosted by an employee of the foundation, that is operated by the Chicago Teachers Union Officers, a person on the Do Not Hire list worked with at least one CPS teacher.

The employee has confirmed this happened.

We have more reporting on CPS' response to this security breach and all those involved now in trying to cover up this incident.

We are waiting now on two more responses.

Thanks for everyone's patience.

btw there was also a security breach of students records with a company we reported on a few years ago. Battelle For Kids Data Breach (5/24/22)

Has CPS privatized teacher evaluations without telling anyone? Who or What is 'Batelle for Kids' and when did Chicago agree to put it in charge of teacher evaluations? CPS has already privatized and outsourced 'value added' teacher evaluation work to an Ohio corporation! (5/9/2012)

Seems like, CPS and CTU are back to their old ways of working for themselves, rather than the students and staff they are obligated to protect.

Looks like CTU is focusing on politics, so everything else is noise and a nuisance. While CPS is figuring out how to divert the billions of extra stimulus and covid money for pet projects rather than the students and staff of cps.
