Subject: Reminder: Test Your Child For COVID and Return Kit Tomorrow

A message from CHICAGO PUBLIC SCHOOLS

Dear CPS Family, We hope that your family is staying safe and healthy during winter break. We are reaching out with an important reminder about the at-home test kits that were sent home from school with students just before winter break. We strongly recommend that you use these kits to test your child for COVID-19 on Tuesday, December 28, then return your test kit at a FedEx Drop Box or one of the following Chicago Public Library locations between noon to 5 p.m. on the same day:

• Englewood: Kelly Branch, 6151 S. Normal Blvd.

• South Shore: South Shore Branch, 2505 E. 73rd St.

• Auburn Gresham: Thurgood Marshall Branch, 7506 S. Racine Ave.

• Southeast Side: Vodak-East Side Branch, 3710 E. 106th St.

• Austin: Austin Branch, 5615 W. Race Ave.

It is very important to test your child for COVID-19 on December 28 and drop your kit off on the same day so that you have your results before school begins again on Monday, January 3.

For instructions on using your at-home COVID-19 test kit, visit cps.edu/testkit. If your child tests positive for COVID-19, please report the positive case to us at cps.edu/covidresults. And remember—if you or your child are sick, please stay home and get tested.

If you have questions, contact ReadyCheckGo Support by phone at 844-658-0388, Option 1 or email: readycheckgo@color.com. They are available daily, 8:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. CST.

If you did not receive a kit from your child’s school, we still encourage you to test your child for COVID-19 before they return from winter break. Please visit cps.edu/covid to find a testing site in your area.

Thank you for your partnership and please enjoy the rest of your winter break. -Chicago Public Schools

• Englewood: Kelly Branch, 6151 S. Normal Blvd.

• South Shore: South Shore Branch, 2505 E. 73rd St.

• Auburn Gresham: Sucursal Thurgood Marshall, 7506 S. Racine Ave.

• Southeast Side: Vodak-East Side Branch, 3710 E. 106th St.

• Austin: Sucursal Austin, 5615 W. Race Ave.
