Badass Moms (BAMs) and Badass Teachers (BATs) to canvass for Chuy March 22

Also, Vote Chuy Garcia on April 7. With less a little over two weeks until the April 7 voting, every day is counting for those mobilizing to replace Rahm and his billionaire buddies with a man of the people who will represent us. Canvassing will be going on all over town (see the map of Chuy's offices attached here) from now until election day.

One group moving out for Chuy is BATs (Badass Teachers). This message came to me from Marla of BATS. "Kati just to let you know that BATs will be canvasing for Chuy Garcia on March 22nd at 10 a.m."

The group will be meeting at Chuy's 26th Ward HQ 3304 W. North Ave. "If you can go," the message continues, "Rousemary Vega is running it for BATs and she would love to have teachers there to help out. Get all your teacher friends to go! They hope to get 50 - 100 people out."

Garcia for Mayor campaign offices as of March 20, 2015.Everyone needs to know that early voting begins on Monday, March 23. This election will be won by the power of the people, ward by ward and precinct by precinct, and not by Rahm's billionaire buddies. Many of you may not know but Rousemary's husband was in a serious car accident yesterday. He is going to be okay. Let's give Rousemary the support she's so generously given us by making sure her event happens. Please reach out to all you know and lets make sure this happens!
