CORE convention set for August 20 and August 21

The 2010 convention of CORE (Caucus Of Rank-and-file Educators) will be held in Chicago on August 20 and August 21. According to an announcement posted to the CORE ListServe on August 4: for CORE members..... The 2nd Annual CORE Convention [will be held] Friday, August 20th from 3:00 to 6:00 pm, and Saturday, August 21th from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm

at University of Illinois at Chicago, Student Center - East Tower, 850 S. Halsted in Chicago.

Best to enter the East Tower off Halsted at Polk Street

Convention will be in Room #605

Full agenda both days!

Snacks served Friday afternoon. We will order out for lunch on Saturday.

Be ready to renew your CORE membership! Join CORE before August 14, 2010 at COREteachers.com to participate in the convention.

Donation of $10 a person for renting of space & convention supplies. 
